Pebbles

Saturday was all go at the Sanctuary as usual! We spent the morning looking after and monitoring our residents including Ebony (a baby Grey) who is not doing too well. Hopefully she will get better before too long. We also went on a rescue to Gormanstown Beach. We received a phone call from a man who was concerned when he saw the pup up on the rocks of the beach. We arrived on the scene and had to walk about a mile down the beach before we found the poor little fella. We decided to name him Pebbles as that's where he was found. On our initial examination we found that Pebbles had terrible mouth injuries almost to the extent that his gums were rotting. We rinsed his mouth and gave him some fluids. We then loaded him into the Seal ambulance and brought him back to the sanctuary. I will keep you updated on his progress.

Katie :-)
